Following our previous collaboration with Správa železnic on the renovation of the cultural halls in Prague’s historic Fanta building, we were invited to design the interiors of the conference rooms at Plzeň’s Main Railway Station. The assignment involved three interconnected rental units.

Although the premises are protected as heritage property, we succeeded in giving them a fresh and contemporary expression while equipping each hall with modern, highly functional furnishings. Our aim was not only to create visually appealing spaces but also to ensure excellent acoustic comfort in an environment where noise is a frequent factor.

The central space is a foyer designed as a social zone with a kitchenette, bar counter, and banquet tables. This area serves as a natural gathering point that sets a welcoming tone before meetings or during breaks.

The foyer leads directly into a large conference hall, notable for its unique wall with sliding panels. These cleverly conceal a projection screen, technical facilities, and a coatroom. The interior is calm and minimalist, supporting focus and creating a professional yet welcoming atmosphere.

The third space is a smaller, independent conference room. It features a central meeting table, a kitchenette, and a lounge area with comfortable seating. The atmosphere is intimate and cozy. The use of high-quality materials and attention to detail give the room a discreet sense of luxury.
